GREEN THE BLOCK- September 11, 2009
Check out Detroit' Green the BLOCK outreach activities on September 11, 2009! Going out into the community is key to spreading the word about Climate Change in southeast Michigan where they are! Many people in the Southeast side of Detroit are eligible for weatherization assistance through Detroit's Department of Human Services.

EVENT: Michigan Welfare Rights Utilities Summit @ Wayne Co. Community College
October 29-30, 6-8pm
There will be over 30 service providers handing out information about assistance with the cost of living. Many people in the Detroit area are suffering under the weight of a high unemployment rate, and high utility costs in a cold winter coming. Come out if you need information on assistance with heating, food, housing and more.
